How does the return prediction algorithm work?▼
Reportly uses a proprietary ML prediction engine trained on channel-specific return velocity curves — the unique pattern of how quickly returns arrive after delivery for each marketplace. Since Macy's has a 60-day return window and Nordstrom has 90 days, products that look fine at day 14 may have significant returns still incoming. The Health Score is a composite 0-100 rating for each product based on four weighted factors: return rate (30%), sell-through rate (25%), channel performance (25%), and sales velocity (20%). Products are graded A+ through F. It gives you an at-a-glance view of which products are thriving and which need attention — without digging through multiple reports.
How does Smart Restock work?▼
Smart Restock calculates recommended order quantities by factoring in current velocity, days of stock cover, predicted returns, and size-level sell-through. It adjusts for returns that haven't arrived yet, so you're not over-ordering based on inflated gross sales. Products are prioritised by urgency so you know exactly what to reorder first.
